1、 Cleaning, inspection, and insulation pad requirements
1. Cleaning and inspection of bearing shells
Large motor bearings are shipped separately in boxes. After unpacking, use eyebolts to separate the upper and lower pads, mark them, and clean them with kerosene. Dry them with a dry cloth and search for all grooves to see if they are clean, if there is any casting residual sand, if the tungsten layer does not bond well with the tile body, if the grooves, cracks, sand holes, and other inclusions cannot be repaired, then hang tungsten again.
2. Cleaning and inspection of bearing seat
Before installing the split bearing seat manufacturer's bearing seat, it should also be thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Use a scraper to scrape away the dirt from the inner cavity of the bearing seat, and use a cloth dipped in gasoline or solvent to wipe the dirt away. Observe for cracks and sand holes in doubt to prevent oil leakage during operation. The joint surface between the bearing cover and the bearing seat, as well as the contact surface between the bearing seat and the bearing oil retaining ring, should be subject to grinding and scraping, and checked with a feeler gauge. The clearance should not be greater than 0.03 mm. The details of the bottom plate on which the bearing seat is placed should also be cleaned and free of bumps, rust, and burrs. The screws fastening the bearing block and the seat plate threads should be carefully inspected by others, and the screws should be tightened to check whether they are too tight or bald.
3. Bearing insulation layout
Metal shims are used to adjust the horizontal position of the seat. To adjust the relative position of the motor and another motor or machine connected thereto. The metal gasket is made of 0.08-3mm metal sheet. The insulating backing plate is made of a cloth laminate or glass fiber laminate. The primary purpose of placing insulation pads is to prevent the risk of shaft current. The insulating pad should be 5 to 10 millimeters wider than each side of the bearing seat, and an insulating pad or metal gasket must be placed between the bearing and the bottom plate. The thickness is 3-10 mm. In addition to placing insulating pads between bearings and bottom plates, non-standard bearing seat manufacturers should also insulate screws and stabilizing screws. The insulating gasket is made of glass fiber cloth plate with a thickness of 2-5 mm, and its outer diameter is 4-5 mm larger than the outer diameter of the iron gasket. The insulating pad of the oil pipe connecting plate connected to the bearing seat can be made of a rubber plate with a thickness of 1-2 mm. After assembling the insulated bearing pedestal, the insulation resistance to the ground should be searched and measured with a 500 volt megohmmeter. The resistance value should not be less than 1 megohm.
